About the vacancy

Eligibility and duties

The post is open to retired Central Government employees who were Section Officers or above, or held an equivalent post. The Consultant will assist with matters concerning the Adjudicatory Board for Major Ports. These include grant releases, coordination on accounts and audits, administrative proposals, reports to Parliament and assistance with Board meetings.

Engagement and pay

The initial engagement is for one year from joining and may be extended. It is full-time and temporary; the circular permits termination at any time without a reason. The Consultant cannot take another assignment during the engagement and may take up to 18 days of leave in a calendar year. Monthly consultancy fees are calculated as pay drawn at retirement minus Basic Pension, plus TA as decided by the Ministry.
