• Desirable credentials include experience with zoo, wildlife park, aquarium, botanical garden or safari park projects; a master's degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry; and web content creation and management experience, as relevant to the role.

The positions are based at National Zoological Park, Mathura Road, New Delhi-110003. There is one opening in each of three areas: zoo design, animal health and welfare, and IT and media.

Who should review this notice

These roles require relevant academic credentials and professional experience. The design position covers specified architecture and civil engineering degrees or a relevant Ph.D., with more than 10 years and up to 15 years of architectural design experience and valid C.O.A. Selection and service conditions

The initial tenure is up to three years on a 1+1+1 basis, with up to two further years considered case by case. Engagement is full time, and consultants cannot take another assignment. An uninformed continuous absence of eight days leads to automatic termination. Consultants already serving with the Ministry may compete with external applicants for a higher consultancy position.
