Editorial Policy

Candidates use SarkariPoint to decide whether to apply, what to pay and when the form closes. A wrong date or fee can cost someone an exam attempt, so this page sets out how we prepare every update and what we do when something is wrong.

Who we are

SarkariPoint is an independent website. It is not a government website and is not connected to any government department, commission, board or recruiting organisation. We never charge candidates for applications and never collect fees on behalf of any recruiting body.

Our updates are written and reviewed by:

Where our information comes from

  • The primary source for every job, admit card, answer key and result post is the recruiting organisation's own notice: its notification, advertisement or press note, and its official website.
  • We follow other public announcements of the same recruitment to learn about new notices and changes quickly, but the official notice decides the facts.
  • Scheme (Sarkari Yojana) posts are based on the scheme's official guidelines and government portals such as myScheme.gov.in, which we name on the post where we use it.
  • Previous-year cut-off marks are taken only from the official result or cut-off documents of the exam.
  • The "Important Links" on a post go only to official websites and documents. We do not link to other job portals or unofficial apps for applying.

How we write a post

  • Facts (dates, fees, age limits, vacancies, eligibility, selection process) are kept exactly as the official notice gives them. When the notice does not state something, we leave it out rather than guess.
  • We use software, including AI writing tools, to help draft posts from the source material and to put the facts into a consistent layout (Important Dates, Application Fee, Age Limit, Vacancy Details). The tools are instructed to copy facts exactly, never to invent them, and to explain things in plain language of their own.
  • Each post names the person responsible for it. "By" means they wrote the post. "Reviewed by" means the post was drafted with our software from the sources above and they are the editor responsible for checking it and correcting it when a mistake is reported.
  • Each post shows when it was last updated, and its title and labels ("Out", "Last Date Extended", "Closed") change as the recruitment moves on.

Keeping posts up to date

When a recruitment publishes a new notice (an extended last date, an admit card, an answer key, a result), we update the same post instead of leaving the old one in place. After a form's last date passes, our system reads the recruitment's official pages for an extension: if one is found, the new date is added and the post is marked "Last Date Extended"; otherwise it is marked "Closed". Every such change is recorded with the page it was based on, so it can be checked and undone.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, email [email protected] with the post's link and, if you can, the official notice that shows the right detail, or leave a comment on the post. We check the report against the official source and correct the post when it is wrong; the post's "Updated" time shows when it last changed. More ways to reach us are on the Contact page.

Always confirm on the official website

Even with these checks, a recruiting body can change details at short notice. Before you apply or pay a fee, confirm the details in the official notification. See also our Disclaimer.
