About the vacancy

SBC Exports Ltd. has issued advertisement OS/VAR/2026/50 for one Scientific Assistant (Biomedical Waste) locum position. The agency supplies contractual manpower to Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre in Varanasi, where the selected candidate will be deployed. This is a contract appointment valid only until 13 March 2027, with consolidated monthly pay of ₹25,000 to ₹30,000.

Who can apply

There are two eligibility routes. A candidate may hold a B.Sc. in any stream with 50% marks, together with a Degree/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and one year of institutional laboratory experience. Alternatively, a B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology with 50% marks and at least two years of institutional laboratory experience is acceptable. Experience in Biomedical Waste Treatment will receive preference. The maximum age is 30 years on the application closing date.
