Recruitment and contract terms

The Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Surajpur, has issued Advertisement No. 8055/DMF/Advt/2026, dated 27 October 2026, for 3 Medical Officer positions. These are contractual appointments in Surajpur, Chhattisgarh, carrying a consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs. 56100. Payment is supported by the District Mineral Foundation fund, and no additional allowances are payable.

The initial engagement lasts for 01 year, or until DMF funds are available or direct recruitment takes place, whichever occurs earlier.

Who is eligible

Applicants must hold an MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India and valid registration with the Chhattisgarh Medical Council. Chhattisgarh local/permanent residency is mandatory. The permitted age range is 18 to 70 years as on 1 January 2026.
