Recruitment and engagement terms
The Office of the Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19, is inviting Indian citizens to apply for contractual positions under advertisement 818616 / SSA-38029/1/2026. The recruitment covers 68 vacancies across Additional Resource Person, Assistant Additional Resource Person and Special Educator posts. These are temporary engagements for an initial period of 11 months, rather than permanent appointments.
Fixed monthly remuneration differs by role: ARP receives Rs. 20,000, AARP receives Rs. 15,000 and Special Educator receives Rs. 25,000. The online application period runs from 13-10-2026 to 28-10-2026.

Graduation and a valid RCI CRR number are required for all three roles, together with the specified special education qualification. ARP applicants need a Special Education diploma of at least one year and a minimum of three years of relevant experience. AARP applicants need a one-year Special Education diploma and relevant experience, although the notice does not give a minimum experience duration for this post.
Special Educator applicants must have Special B.Ed. or a one-year RCI-recognized Special Education diploma, along with at least five years of relevant experience. The experience requirements concern government organizations or NGOs working in disability, SSA or DPEP. Candidates must be 18–62 years old on 01-01-2026, with age determined from their Matriculation/HSLC pass certificate.

Selection information
