What SSC has announced

The Staff Selection Commission has released the PET/PST outcome for the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2025. The notice, dated 29 October 2026, covers shortlisting for Paper-II. The earlier Paper-I result, declared on 30 March 2026, had shortlisted 48,387 unique candidates under different lists.

Physical test outcome and Paper-II lists

The CAPFs conducted the physical tests between 21 July and 30 July 2026. SSC's summary records 10,676 qualified candidates, 10,622 not qualified, 26,949 absent, four temporarily unfit and 136 with withheld results.

The separate Paper-II availability tables show 518 female candidates in List-I and 10,298 male candidates in List-II. The female total includes four temporary-unfit candidates: one SC, two OBC and one EWS. The male table also reports 1,189 ex-servicemen. These availability figures are presented separately from the qualified count in the physical-test summary.

Some OBC candidates have different category treatment for Delhi Police and CAPFs. The female OBC figure includes six candidates treated as UR for CAPFs and three treated as EWS for CAPFs. The corresponding male figures are 113 and 44.

Withheld and provisional cases

The 136 withheld cases follow recommendations from BSF, the nodal force, and their roll numbers are identified through List-III. The notice separately identifies the four temporarily unfit female candidates.

Another 97 specified candidates have provisional permission to appear in Paper-II because their matters are pending before courts. Taking the examination does not give them a right to final selection; their candidature and final results remain dependent on the respective court decisions.
