CMHO Raigarh Lab Technician Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in for 6 Posts

Recruitment and contract terms

The Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Raigarh, has issued Advertisement No. C.S.R./2026/31652, dated 27 October 2026, for six Lab Technician positions. These posts are based in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. Engagement is purely contractual for one year under NHM / NTEP, with remuneration of Rs. 13000 per month.

Who can participate

The educational requirement combines Intermediate (10+2) with a diploma or certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology, or an equivalent qualification. One year of experience in NTEP or sputum smear microscopy is desirable. Candidates holding higher qualifications will be given preference.

The age criteria state a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 70 years for medical posts, calculated as on 1 January 2026. Anyone whose service was terminated by NHM or a government department for indiscipline, financial irregularity or misconduct is excluded from eligibility.

Walk-in submission and examination

Application submission is through the walk-in scheduled for 12 November 2026. Reporting begins at 9:30 AM at the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Bhagwanpur Road, Raigarh. The written test follows on 13 November 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with its result scheduled for 03:00 PM.

The selection process includes academic assessment, experience assessment, a written examination and a skill test / interview. The stated allocation is 65% marks for academic qualifications, 10/15 marks for experience and 20 marks for the written / skill test / interview component.

• Attach self-attested copies of the Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, along with all-year marksheets for the essential degree or diploma.
