THSTI Recruitment 2026: Walk-in for 7 Research, Technical Support and Lab Technician PostsOut

• Project Research Scientist-III: A postgraduate degree in Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, any branch of Chemical Sciences or equivalent sciences, with 5 years of relevant post-qualification research-laboratory experience; alternatively, an awarded PhD in these disciplines with 2 years of relevant post-qualification research-laboratory experience.
• Project Technical Support-II: Class 12 Science with an MLT/DMLT or equivalent diploma and 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience; alternatively, a three-year Life Sciences graduation degree with 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Project Technical Support-III, S.No. 3: A three-year Life Sciences graduation degree with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in animal handling and a BSL-3 laboratory environment; alternatively, a postgraduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences.
• Project Research Scientist-II: An awarded PhD in any branch of Life Sciences, with experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, animal handling and immunology demonstrated through research publications or a project thesis.
• Lab Technician: B.Sc. or a three-year Engineering/Technology diploma, with experience in areas such as phlebotomy, saliva and NP swab collection, ELISA, PCR and culture.
• Project Research Scientist-I: A postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or an equivalent discipline. Experience in mammalian cell culture, iPSC culture/differentiation, CRISPR/Cas9, CAR engineering, lentiviral/retroviral transduction, flow cytometry and immune-cell functional assays is desirable.
• Project Technical Support-III, S.No. 7: A three-year graduation degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or an equivalent discipline, with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, flow cytometry, cell-based assays and routine laboratory techniques; alternatively, a postgraduate degree in one of these disciplines.
• Qualifications must be from recognized boards, universities or institutions, as applicable. Required experience must have been gained after acquiring the specified minimum qualification.

• Read Recruitment Notice THS/RN/22/2026 and identify the serial number, eligibility conditions and walk-in date for your chosen post.
• Prepare your latest CV/resume, original qualification and experience documents, one set of their photocopies, and a valid ID card.
• Report at 9:00 am on the relevant date to THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Faridabad – 121001.
• Attend the written test, skill test or interview as applicable; candidates arriving after the allotted reporting time will not be considered.

THSTI project recruitment overview

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute has issued Recruitment Notice THS/RN/22/2026, dated 24 October 2026, for seven short-term project positions. THSTI operates under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The openings cover research scientist, technical support and laboratory work across several research projects.

Choose the correct post and date

The selection schedule is divided across four days. Project Research Scientist-II candidates attend on 4 November 2026. Lab Technician and Project Research Scientist-I candidates attend on 5 November 2026. Project Research Scientist-III and Project Technical Support-III under S.No. 7 attend on 6 November 2026. Project Technical Support-II and Project Technical Support-III under S.No. 3 attend on 17 November 2026. The two Technical Support-III entries have different project requirements and dates, so candidates must identify the correct serial number.

Check eligibility before attending

Qualification routes range from Science Class 12 with a relevant diploma to postgraduate degrees and awarded PhDs. Some posts require specific laboratory or research experience. Only experience acquired after the prescribed minimum qualification counts. Age, qualifications, experience and other eligibility conditions are assessed on the respective walk-in date. Monthly consolidated pay ranges from Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 78,000/- plus HRA; the Lab Technician position carries Rs. 28,520/- without a separately listed HRA component.

• Report at 9:00 am at THSTI's NCR Biotech Science Cluster campus in Faridabad. Late arrivals will not be entertained.
• Be prepared for the applicable written test, skill test or interview. Higher or relevant qualifications and experience may be used for screening when attendance is large.

Appointment and communication conditions

These appointments do not create a right to regular employment. Extensions depend on satisfactory performance and the relevant project's tenure. Vacancy numbers may change according to requirements at selection. Results and notifications will be published only on the THSTI website, and communication will be through email.
