Exam Pattern
For Technical Officer and Technician (1), the trade test only qualifies you for the written exam. The written exam has three papers: Paper I (mental ability, no negative marking) acts as a threshold, and the final merit is based on Paper II (general awareness and English) and Paper III (concerned subject). Security Officer candidates take a physical test, and Security Assistant candidates a physical and personality assessment test, before the written exam. MTS selection is through a competitive written test of Class 10 standard.
