GMC Jalna Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026Out

• Applicants must be Indian citizens and residents of Maharashtra.
• A recognised MD, MS, DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject is required, along with eligibility under the applicable Maharashtra Medical Council and NMC norms.
• Candidates must hold registration under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, and valid Maharashtra State Medical Council registration under the 1965 Act.
• The general eligibility conditions require BCME and BCBR training certificates under NMC norms. The Assistant Professor conditions also provide for completing or undergoing the specified biomedical research and Medical Education Technology courses.
• Professor applicants need at least 3 years of Associate Professor experience in an NMC-eligible medical college and 4 national/international research papers, including 2 published while serving as Associate Professor.
• Associate Professor applicants need at least 4 years of Assistant Professor experience in an NMC-eligible medical college and 2 national/international research papers published while serving as Assistant Professor.
• Assistant Professor applicants need 1 year of Senior Resident experience; the subject-wise table also allows 1 year as Senior Resident or Tutor in the relevant subject at a recognised medical institution.

GMC Jalna contractual teaching appointments

Government Medical College, Jalna has issued a teaching recruitment notice dated 27 October 2026. The subject-wise vacancies total 20 across 15 medical subjects, although the notice does not state a separate grand total.
