• Research Associate I: Ph.D., MD, MS, MDS or an equivalent degree; alternatively, MVSc, M.Pharm, ME or M.Tech followed by three years of research, teaching, or design and development experience, with at least one paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
• Research Associate I desirable experience: Biopolymer extraction, derivatization and characterization; superabsorbent composites or hydrogels; seed coating and characterization; biomass processing reactors; and bioprocess engineering. Relevant publications or patents, scientific writing skills and laboratory management experience are also desirable.
• Project Associate I: A master's degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, MVSc, or a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Medicine from a recognized university, or an equivalent qualification.
• Project Associate I relevant experience: Agricultural or horticultural field and pot trials, assessment of seedling growth parameters such as root length, shoot length and vigor index, and laboratory management and administration.
