• Data Manager: A master's degree in any field, preferably science, with 6 years of experience in clinical data management, clinical research, operations, MIS, data analysis, IT, computer science or healthcare; alternatively, a graduation degree in any field, preferably science, with 8 years of experience in these areas.
• Data Manager: Database handling and query-management experience, along with an understanding of clinical trials and clinical data management functions, are mandatory skills.
• Data Manager desirable credentials include a diploma in clinical research and clinical data management, familiarity with industry-standard CDMS, some programming ability and experience preparing clinical study data-management documents.
• Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): A postgraduate degree, including an integrated postgraduate degree.
• Scientist desirable credentials include postgraduate study in Clinical Research, Clinical Trials, Epidemiology, Public Health or a related discipline; laboratory-related training; relevant clinical research and biological-sample handling experience; SOP and study-workplan preparation; study coordination; and GCP certification.
• Qualifications must be awarded by a recognised Board or University. Only experience gained after obtaining the minimum educational qualification for the post will count.

Two project appointments at CDSA

THSTI has issued recruitment notice THS-C/RN/20/2026, dated 29.10.2026, for two positions at its Clinical Development Services Agency. The posts support a multidisciplinary, multi-institutional research programme addressing sepsis-related mortality among neonates in India. There is one Data Manager vacancy and one Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) vacancy, each carrying Rs. 56,000/- plus HRA. The vacancy count may change according to requirements at the selection stage.

For Data Manager, applicants can qualify through a master's degree with six years of relevant experience or a graduation degree with eight years of relevant experience. Selection and appointment conditions

The process may include a written test, skill test or interview. Higher or more relevant qualifications and experience may be used for shortlisting when attendance is large. These are short-term project appointments; extensions depend on performance and project tenure, and appointment does not create a right to regular employment.
