Contract Medical Officer vacancy at Khanpur

Station HQ (ECHS Cell), 7BRD AF Station Tughlakabad, Ministry of Defence, is recruiting one Medical Officer for ECHS Polyclinic, Khanpur. This is a contractual appointment with fixed remuneration of ₹95,000 per month. Ex-Servicemen applicants will receive preference.

Eligibility and engagement terms

Applicants must hold an MBBS degree and have at least 03 years of experience after internship. Additional qualifications in Medicine or Surgery are desirable. The initial contract is for one year for Ex-Servicemen and 11 months for civilian candidates. Renewal can be considered for a further one year or 11 months respectively, subject to performance, other conditions and the applicable maximum age. The notice does not give an exact age limit or specify an application fee.

Interview and original records

Candidates must report at ECHS Polyclinic C/O 7 BRD Air Force Station, Tughlakabad at 1000 hrs on 17 November 2026. Bring original educational certificates and mark sheets covering Matric, 10+2 and Graduation or Post-Graduation, as applicable, together with work experience certificates. Ex-Servicemen must also carry their Discharge Book, Pension Payment Order and service records. One passport-size colour photograph is required. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Mandatory training before taking charge

The selected candidate must undergo 10 days of on-the-job training under the applicable ECHS policy. This training period is unpaid, and a certificate from the OIC Polyclinic is required before the candidate can assume charge as a contractual employee.
