Conditions of engagement

The arrangement ends when the vacancy is filled through a new appointment, regular posting or transfer, and it creates no entitlement to regularisation. Fifteen days of continuous absence also ends the engagement. At joining, the candidate must provide an affidavit covering the absence of a pending criminal case, other government or semi-government employment, and earlier removal following a complaint. Duties also include assistance with admission tests, student union elections, cultural programmes, sports, internal examinations and NAAC work.
