AMU Senior Resident/Tutor Recruitment 2026 for 5 PostsOut

• Applicants must meet the NMC norms/Residency Scheme requirements adopted by AMU for Senior Resident/Tutor in Anatomy.
• Indian nationals, including OCI Cardholders covered under Section-7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955, may apply.
• Qualifications, experience and other eligibility conditions are assessed as on the last date for submitting the application form.
• Any applicable relaxation in the percentage of marks follows Government of India rules.
• Where applicable, High School or Graduation-equivalent certificates from Madaris/institutions recognised by AMU are accepted.
• For posts earmarked for PwD candidates, the relevant disability must be at least 40%, supported by the prescribed certificate.

• Read advertisement FM/41/2026 and the User Manual on the AMU Careers Portal.
• Complete the online application through the portal by 5 November 2026 at 11:59 P.M.; plain-paper applications are not accepted.
• Pay Rs. 500/- online, or upload the prescribed authentic Disability Certificate to claim the PwD fee exemption.
• Download the submitted application PDF and print it on A-4 paper.
• Sign the printout, paste a recent front-facing photograph in the designated space and attach self-attested supporting documents.
• Write the post name, advertisement number FM/41/2026 and advertisement date on the top-left of the envelope.
• Post the application to the Office of the Dean, J. N. Medical College, Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-202002, ensuring delivery by 14 November 2026 at 04:00 p.m.

Recruitment and appointment terms

The Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, has issued local advertisement FM/41/2026 dated 28 October 2026 for 05 Senior Resident/Tutor positions in Anatomy at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College. These are temporary teaching appointments that may be ended without notice or reasons. The number and nature of posts may change before the interview. Senior Residents receive Pay Level AL-11; Tutors receive AL-11 without NPA.

Eligibility and application requirements

Candidates must satisfy the NMC norms/Residency Scheme adopted by AMU. Indian nationals and eligible OCI Cardholders may apply. Qualifications, experience and other eligibility conditions are assessed on the application closing date. Meeting the minimum requirements does not ensure an interview invitation, as the University may scrutinise and shortlist applications.

The online deadline is 5 November 2026 at 11:59 P.M. Each application requires a non-refundable online payment of Rs. 500/-. PwD applicants claiming exemption must upload an authentic Disability Certificate in the prescribed format. For posts earmarked for PwD candidates, the relevant disability must be at least 40%.

Complete both submission stages

• Read the advertisement and portal User Manual, then submit the online form through the AMU Careers Portal.
• Print the submitted PDF on A-4 paper, sign it and paste a recent front-facing photograph.
• Attach self-attested copies of the required academic, registration, internship, experience and employment documents, as applicable.
• Mark the envelope with the post, advertisement number and advertisement date, and post it to the Dean's office at J. N. Medical College, AMU, Aligarh-202002.

The hard copy must arrive by 14 November 2026 at 04:00 p.m. Postal delays are not the University's responsibility. Late, incomplete or unsupported applications will be rejected, and additional documents or information cannot be supplied after the last date.

Interview arrangements

Report to the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, AMU, Aligarh, at 12:00 noon on 23 November 2026 for the 12:30 p.m. Local Selection Committee interview.
