• Business Manager: Candidates must be willing to travel extensively within Odisha and mentor approximately 60–75 enterprises. Candidates from institutions such as IRMA, IIMs, IITs, NITs and institutions of comparable repute may be preferred; higher relevant qualifications and experience may also be considered.

About the recruitment

IIT Bhubaneswar Research and Entrepreneurship Park has issued Advertisement No. Recruitment/IIT BBS Research and Entrepreneurship Park/2026/02 for the DAY-NRLM Incubator Programme, Odisha, implemented with the Odisha Livelihoods Mission. The notice dated 06 November 2026 covers one full-time Project Lead and two Business Managers. These are temporary, project-based engagements in Odisha, not appointments carrying a claim to regular employment at IIT Bhubaneswar.

Who the roles are for

They must be prepared for extensive travel within Odisha and hands-on support to approximately 60–75 enterprises.

Pay and continuation

The annual consolidated remuneration ceiling is ₹10,00,000 for Project Lead and ₹12,00,000 for Business Manager. Payment is subject to applicable project norms and approval. The initial term is 12 months; annual extensions can take the engagement up to three years. Continuation depends on satisfactory performance, approved KPI achievement, funding and the programme remaining operational.
