• Senior Research Associate: A full-time postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, CSR and Sustainability, or a field related to needs assessment, SROI, baseline surveys or impact evaluation is required. The notice specifies a minimum 3–5 years of general CSR and Sustainability experience, alongside demonstrated research, assessment report writing, proposal development, field-study and data-analysis abilities. A relevant PhD is preferred, and SROI assessment experience is an advantage.
• Chief Program Executive: A master's degree from a recognized university in Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies or a related discipline is required. The notice specifies a minimum 10–15 years of relevant CSR, sustainability, ESG or corporate citizenship experience, with knowledge of CSR regulations, SDGs, global standards and impact measurement. Research, communication, project management and MS Office skills are essential. A PhD or CSR/Sustainability certification is advantageous.
• Project Assistant: CA/CS/ICWA articleship or articleship in a related discipline, with exposure to CSR, sustainability or related work, is required. Candidates need MS Office and Canva skills, particularly Excel, along with writing, analytical and teamwork abilities. Travel across India for fieldwork, meetings and business development is mandatory. Relevant experience of 1–3 years is preferred; completed CA/CS/ICWA articleship counts as one year of experience.

About the recruitment

IICA, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, is recruiting three contractual professionals for its Centre for Excellence in CSR & Corporate Citizenship. The circular is dated 30.10.2026, and applications close on 21.11.2026. Each position has a separate online application form.

Who should consider these positions

The Senior Research Associate role requires postgraduate study in the specified research-related fields and CSR/Sustainability experience. The Chief Program Executive position targets experienced professionals with a relevant master's degree and substantial work in CSR, sustainability, ESG or corporate citizenship. Project Assistant applicants need the specified articleship background, relevant exposure and strong Excel skills. Travel across India is compulsory for the Project Assistant role.

Eligibility is determined on the closing date. The upper age limit is 63 years for all three positions, with possible relaxation for exceptional candidates. Provisional claims of eligibility will not be considered.

Application and document checks

Selection and appointment conditions

Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee an interview. IICA will shortlist candidates and communicate the presentation or interview schedule separately. Assessment may take place at the Manesar campus or through video conference; interview travel expenses are not reimbursed.

Appointments initially run for one year and may be extended or shortened according to performance and requirements. WNS Project appointments are co-terminus with that project. Pay is consolidated, without DA, transport allowance, HRA, LTC, medical facilities or other compensation packages. Selected candidates must sign a contract and join immediately. Either party may end the engagement with two months' notice or two months' consolidated emoluments instead.
