On 5 October 2026 the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) issued Result-II for the posts of Treasury Officer and Assistant Treasury Officer in the Finance Department, Haryana (Advt No. 23/2023). It continues the final result of 16 March 2026, in which three Assistant Treasury Officer posts had been kept vacant because of pending court cases. HPSC has issued Result-II, dated 5 October 2026, in the Treasury Officer and Assistant Treasury Officer recruitment of the Finance Department, Haryana (Advt No. 23/2023). The final result of 16 March 2026 had recommended candidates for both posts but kept three Assistant Treasury Officer posts (01 UR-DESM, 01 UR and 01 EWS of Haryana) vacant because of pending court cases. With Result-II, the Commission has finalised the result of two of these posts and published the recommended roll numbers. One UR-DESM post of Assistant Treasury Officer is still vacant on account of the pending court cases.

Exam Pattern Used
Paper-I (General Knowledge including everyday science) was objective, 2 hours and 100 marks, and was used for screening only. The main exam had Paper II (Precis Writing, Noting and Drafting in English and Hindi) and Paper III (Government Accounts, chapters 1-8 of the CAG book), each 3 hours and 100 marks. Viva-voce carried 25 marks, for a grand total of 225. The final merit list counts Papers II and III and the viva-voce.
