Haryana Public Service Commission has revised the result for the Project Officer posts in the New & Renewable Energy Department, Haryana. The new notice, called Result-II and dated 09.10.2026, was issued in supersession of the final result declared on 08.08.2023. It gives the roll numbers of candidates recommended for appointment in ascending order, not in order of merit. The notice does not mention any further stage for candidates.
What Changed Since 2023
The 2023 result had recommended candidates only against some posts. It stated that the result for 01 General, 02 SC and 02 EWS posts was not being declared because of court cases before the High Court. Result-II now replaces that list. According to its notes, one SC post is still kept vacant on account of a pending court case, and there is no candidate available against one EWS post.

This recruitment began with Advertisement No. 2(12) of 2016 (online closing date 28.10.2016), which listed two temporary Project Officer, Class-II (Group-B) posts: one SC and one ESM. A corrigendum dated 11.10.2017 added one BC-A post, raising the total to three, and reopened online applications for that post until 30.10.2017. A second corrigendum dated 21.10.2021 increased the posts from 3 to 8 and invited fresh online applications until 05.11.2021, with revised fees and age relaxations.
