Who can be considered

How the assessment works

Applications will be scrutinised against criteria totalling 100 marks. The compulsory officiating credential carries 20 marks. State/National-level experience and Khelo India Games/National Games experience each carry a maximum of 40 marks. Both experience categories count only tournaments held during 2021–2026.

For State/National-level experience, five or more tournaments earn 40 marks, three or four earn 30 marks, two earn 20 marks, and one earns 10 marks. The notice does not mention a written test or interview.

Selection also follows a 60:40 male-to-female ratio, with no more than five officials from any State/UT. Female officials securing at least 50 marks are to be selected directly. The steering committee will finalise shortlisted officials if a tie arises under the stated conditions.
