MPPGCL apprenticeship opportunity

Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited, Anuppur, has announced 29 ITI apprenticeship positions through Advertisement No. 001-01/TRAINING/451, dated 21 October 2026. The six trades covered are Fitter, Turner, Welder, Motor Mechanic, Electrician and COPA. Applications are online, with 20 November 2026 set as the closing date.

Applicants need an ITI qualification in the trade for which they apply and must be permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh. Preference is available to residents of Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni and Jabalpur districts. Candidates previously registered for or trained under apprenticeship in any establishment, or those who have worked for more than one year, are excluded.

The general-category age range is 18 to 25 years, measured on 20 November 2026. The notice allows five years of relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer candidates and ten years for Divyang candidates. It does not specify an application fee.

The engagement is for one year, with monthly pay of Rs. 9600. Apprenticeship completion does not carry an assurance of employment. Selected candidates must have an accident insurance policy providing coverage of at least Rs. 1 lakh.
