Haryana unemployment allowance applications

The Employment Department, Government of Haryana, is accepting applications under the Unemployment Allowance for the Educated Unemployed Youth Scheme. Who can receive the allowance?

The scheme covers eligible unemployed applicants aged 21-35. Those with Class 12 or a two-year certificate/diploma after Matric fall under the Rs. 1,200 monthly allowance category. A graduate degree or higher qualification, or a three-year certificate/diploma after 10+2, qualifies for the Rs. 2,000 monthly category, subject to the remaining conditions.

Annual family income from all sources cannot exceed Rs. 300000/-. The property conditions exclude families with residential or commercial property valued above Rs. 10.00 lakhs or agricultural land exceeding 2 hectares.

Check registration and exclusion conditions

An applicant must have been continuously registered with an employment exchange in Haryana for at least three years as on 1 November of each year. A new registration alone does not meet this requirement.

Students, trainees, apprentices, employed and self-employed people are excluded. Applicants must not be dismissed government employees or have a conviction resulting in imprisonment for six months or more. Registration under the Employment Department's Saksham Yuva Scheme also makes an applicant ineligible.
