• M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Life Sciences, or B.Tech in Biotechnology.

About the appointment

Gujarat State AIDS Control Society, under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat, is recruiting one Deputy Director for its Lab Services Division. The position supports the National AIDS Control Programme covering HIV/AIDS. This is an 11-month appointment on a purely temporary, ad-hoc contractual basis under NACO guidelines, with fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 50,680.

Who can attend

The educational requirement is an M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Life Sciences, or a B.Tech in Biotechnology. Candidates with these qualifications require 5 years of experience. A PhD in the specified science subjects is desirable; PhD candidates require 3 years of work experience in a medical diagnostic laboratory. Experience in an accredited laboratory, or one that has applied for accreditation, receives preference. The maximum age is 50 years.
