Contractual OIC vacancy at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

ECHS Station Cell, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, under the Ministry of Defence, is recruiting one Officer-In-Charge for the local ECHS Polyclinic. This is a contractual appointment reserved entirely for ex-servicemen, rather than a general recruitment open to all graduates.

Eligibility and engagement terms

Applicants must be retired non-medical Service Officers from the three services. Honorary Commissioned Officers are not eligible under the stated requirements. A graduation degree, computer qualifications and at least five years of work in health care institutions or managerial positions are required.

The initial contract lasts one year. A further one-year renewal is possible, subject to performance, other conditions and the maximum age provision. The notice does not give a numerical age ceiling. The selected individual must undergo 10 days of unpaid On the Job Training.

The advertised fixed remuneration is Rs 95,000. For ex-servicemen and retired government employees, the monthly amount is determined by comparing the last pay minus basic pension with the fixed remuneration, with the higher amount admissible. Travelling allowance is also admissible at the rate applicable at retirement.
