About This Recruitment
Sainik School Rewari, located at Village Gothra Ahir in Rewari district of Haryana, has advertised five contractual vacancies, one each for Medical Officer, PGT (Physical Education), Nursing Assistant (Male), PEM/PTI-cum Matron (Female) and Counsellor. All five are unreserved (UR) posts. The application form and the detailed advertisement were released on 17 October 2026, after a short notice on 13 October 2026, and completed forms must reach the school by 6 November 2026 (5:00 PM).
Posts And Monthly Pay
- Medical Officer: ₹84,960 per month, for MBBS degree holders.
- PGT (Physical Education): ₹76,160 per month.
- Counsellor: ₹71,840 per month.
- PEM/PTI-cum Matron (Female): ₹46,720 per month, open to women who have passed Class 10 and speak English fluently.
- Nursing Assistant (Male): ₹40,800 per month, for nursing diploma or degree holders with 5 years of experience, or ex-servicemen of the Medical Assistant trade.
Who Can Apply
The PGT (Physical Education) post needs an M.A. in Physical Education or an M.P.Ed. with at least 50% marks, together with a B.P.Ed. or D.P.Ed. Counsellor applicants need a graduate or postgraduate degree in Psychology, a postgraduate degree in Child Development, or any degree with a diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling. The age limit is 21-50 years for the PGT and Counsellor posts and 18-50 years for the other three, counted as on 17 October 2026; SC / ST candidates get 5 extra years and OBC candidates 3.
What To Do Now
- Download the application form and the full advertisement, and confirm you meet the conditions of your post.
- Attach attested mark sheets, degree and experience certificates, a passport-size photograph and, for General and OBC, a crossed ₹500 bank draft in favour of the Principal, Sainik School Rewari.
- Add a self-addressed envelope with ₹56 postage stamps for the admit card.
- Mark the envelope with your post name and send it by India Post or by hand; private courier is not accepted.
Points To Remember
- The contract runs for 11 months of service plus a one-month break and may be renewed yearly, after quarterly performance reviews, up to a maximum of three years. It gives no claim to regular appointment, and no pay is given during the break.
- No TA/DA is paid for attending the selection process.
- The school is not responsible for postal delays, so send the form early enough to reach before the 6 November 2026 deadline.
