Contractual recruitment for the 2026-27 session
PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pragati Vihar, operating under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, is conducting a walk-in recruitment exercise for its New Delhi school. The engagement covers PGT Maths, PGT Computer Science, TGT Maths, Computer Instructor and Special Educator (PRT). All positions are part-time and contractual, and the notice does not provide a vacancy count.
Eligibility and remuneration
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no more than 65 years old as of 1.4.2026. Educational requirements differ by post, with the detailed qualifications available on the school's official website. Basic knowledge of computers is desirable across all posts. Interview schedule and venue
The walk-in will take place on 24.10.2026 at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pragati Vihar, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003. Registration is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, while the interview period is 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The registration deadline is firm: candidates arriving outside the stated registration period will not be registered.
What candidates need to do
- Check the prescribed qualifications for the intended post on the official school website.
- Download and complete the application form provided there.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents and bring the originals for verification.
- Carry two recent passport-size photographs and a valid photo identity proof.
- Attend the venue on the scheduled date and complete registration within the allotted hour.
Conditions of engagement
Attendance at the interview does not carry any entitlement to TA or DA. Contractual service does not give candidates a claim to regular appointment or seniority under KVS or the school. Services may end without prior notice if the regular teacher returns from leave or if an administrative reason requires termination.
