About This Update

The drive is for 52 posts across four engineering streams and Geology.
Key Highlights
- Mechanical Engineering has the largest share with 27 posts, followed by Chemical Engineering (10), Petroleum Engineering (9), Geology (4) and Instrumentation Engineering (2). Category-wise, 24 are UR, 12 OBC (NCL), 9 SC, 2 ST and 5 EWS.

How Selection Works
The CBT had 85 objective questions (40 on the candidate's domain, 10 general awareness, 25 aptitude and 10 English) in 2 hours, with no negative marking. Candidates were shortlisted in about a 1:5 ratio by category. The final merit gives 85 marks to the CBT score and 15 to the interview; shortlisted candidates may also face a group discussion, which is not qualifying. To be empanelled, General, EWS and OBC candidates need at least 45% in the CBT and 9 of 15 in the interview, while SC, ST and PwBD candidates need 40% and 6 of 15.
