• Management: MBA, PGDBM or a relevant allied qualification with at least 60% marks, together with Ph.D./NET (Management) eligibility under the applicable UGC/AICTE regulations and amendments.
• Social Work: A master's degree in a concerned, relevant or allied subject with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from an Indian university, or an equivalent qualification from an accredited foreign university, along with UGC/CSIR NET or an accredited SLET/SET. A Ph.D. awarded under the UGC 2009 or 2016 regulations and amendments provides the stated NET/SLET/SET exemption. The test is also not required for master's disciplines in which the specified eligibility tests are not conducted.
• Education for the B.Ed. course: A postgraduate degree relevant to the specialization, covering Pedagogy of Physical Science and Mathematics, with at least 55% marks, plus M.Ed./M.A. Education with at least 55% marks and UGC/CSIR NET or an accredited SLET/SET. The stated exemption applies to Ph.D. holders meeting the UGC 2009 or 2016 regulations and amendments. Pedagogy of Physical Science and Mathematics is preferred.
• Alternative route for Social Work and Education: A Ph.D. from a foreign university or institution placed among the world's top 500 at any time by QS, THE or ARWU of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
• For Social Work and Education, candidates registered for a Ph.D. before 11 July 2009 must meet all specified exemption conditions: regular-mode award, evaluation by at least two external examiners, an open viva, two papers published from the doctoral work including one in a refereed journal, and at least two related conference/seminar presentations supported by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or a similar agency. The Registrar or Dean (Academic Affairs) must certify compliance.
• All posts require Urdu knowledge through the recognized Urdu-medium schooling, Madarsa or Urdu-subject qualifications described in the notice, including accepted school, intermediate, undergraduate or postgraduate routes.
• Digital teaching skills, including LMS, AI-enabled applications and Generative AI, are desirable for Management and Social Work.
• SLET/SET eligibility is restricted to appointments in universities, colleges or institutions of the respective state, as specified in the notice.
