About the OVAL-008 assignment
The OVAL-008 Graphic Design assignment covers practical work in calligraphy and lettering, logo and symbol design, and stationery design. It includes Roman and Gothic typography, lettering as a design element, trademarks, and items such as visiting cards, letterheads, envelopes and folders.
There are three practical components: three mounted sheets for calligraphy and lettering, two mounted designs for logos, trademarks and symbols, and two mounted stationery designs. The listing gives 100 maximum marks and 30% weightage, but the PDF does not specify component-wise marks. Internal assessment/submission is required, and the portfolio is carried forward for final assessment.
