About the OVAL-005 assignment
The OVAL-005 assignment covers practical still-life studies using solid geometric shapes and single or paired objects. Students explore simple and complex forms through line drawing, light and shade, including both natural and manufactured objects.
Practical Assignment 1 requires two groups of 10 works, making a portfolio of at least 20 works. The PDF assigns 30 marks to the complete portfolio, while the official listing gives maximum marks of 100 and a 30% weightage. Internal assessment involves two examinations, with their average carried forward for final assessment.
