About the MHD-19 assignment
The MHD-19 assignment covers the development of Hindi Dalit literature through poetry, short stories and autobiography. It asks students to interpret literary passages and critically discuss the themes, narrative techniques and characteristics of prescribed works. This Hindi-medium tutor-marked assignment draws on all blocks of the course.
There are three compulsory question groups: three contextual explanations worth 30 marks, four analytical answers worth 60 marks, and two short answers worth 10 marks. Each answer in the final group should be approximately 300 words. The assignment carries 100 marks and has a weightage of 30%.
