About the MHD-05 assignment
The MHD-05 assignment covers literary theory and criticism across all course blocks. Topics include the characteristics and purposes of poetry, word power, rasa, Matthew Arnold’s criticism, Hindi criticism after Shukla, realism, New Criticism and literary movements.
There are nine compulsory questions worth 100 marks. Questions 1–8 carry 10 marks each. Question 9 requires four short notes worth 5 marks each, making 20 marks. The assignment carries a 30% weightage according to the official listing.
