About the BPCM-161 assignment
The BPCM-161 assignment covers psychological research methods, memory, emotions, learning, perception, motivation, intelligence and projective techniques. It tests both detailed understanding and the ability to explain key psychological concepts briefly.

How to write and submit it
- Attempt every question, keeping answers to about 500 words each in Assignment One and about 100 words each in Assignment Two.
- Write answers by hand and in your own words; typed or printed answers are not allowed. Copying from study materials or other learners earns zero marks for the affected question.
- Use ruled A4 paper, leave a 4 cm left margin and space between answers, and tie the pages securely.
- Organise descriptive answers logically with an introduction and conclusion. Write neatly, use proper spacing and underline points you want to emphasise.
- Attach a copy of the assignment question paper to your completed work.
- Submit only to the coordinator of your allotted Study Centre within the deadline. If a centre change is pending, use the original centre until IGNOU officially notifies the change.
- For offline submission, obtain and retain a receipt from the Study Centre. Keep a photocopy of your assignment for future reference.
- Contact the Study Centre coordinator if an answer has not been evaluated or the recorded total is incorrect.
