• Scientific Officer (IT - Coordinator): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent discipline from a government-recognized university, with at least 50% aggregate marks. At least three years of hands-on experience with PCs, servers, L2/L3 switches, routers, Windows desktop systems and leased-line connectivity is required, along with practical knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS/400, DB2) operations, administration and backups. Healthcare software implementation experience is preferred.
• Network Administrator: Engineering graduation in Computers/Electronics/IT with at least 55% marks and one year of relevant experience; OR a three-year engineering diploma in these disciplines with at least 55% marks and two years of relevant experience; OR graduation in any stream with a computer maintenance/computer networking certificate course of at least one year and three years of relevant experience. Relevant experience must cover large LAN installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance, structured cabling, L2/L3 switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi devices and routers. CCNA or similar professional certification and knowledge of firewalls, UTM and network security are preferred.
• IT Assistant (Networking): Graduation in any stream from a government-recognized university and a computer certificate/diploma course lasting at least one year from a reputed institute. At least three years of hands-on experience with PCs, L2/L3 switches, routers and video-conferencing equipment is required, together with Windows desktop/server knowledge and mandatory familiarity with TCPIP and IP networking. The stated preference is a three-year diploma in Computers/Electronics/Electrical Engineering, B.Sc. preferably in IT, BCS, BCA or an equivalent degree with at least 50% aggregate marks, together with CCNA certification.
• Desktop Support Engineer: Graduation in any stream from a government-recognized university plus a computer certificate/diploma course of at least one year from a reputed institute; OR a three-year diploma in Computer/Electronics Engineering with at least 50% aggregate marks from a government-recognized board/university. At least one year of hands-on experience with PCs, network equipment and video-conferencing equipment is required. Candidates must know Windows desktop and Windows/Linux server systems and be familiar with TCPIP and IP networking. CCNA certification is preferred.

Advertisement OS/MUL/46/2026, dated 28.10.2026, covers four IT positions for deployment at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Punjab. M/s. Innovsource Services Pvt. Ltd. is conducting the recruitment as the outsourcing agency. These appointments are contractual rather than direct permanent hospital appointments.

There is one position each for Scientific Officer (IT - Coordinator), Network Administrator, IT Assistant (Networking) and Desktop Support Engineer. The four listed vacancies may increase or decrease according to institutional requirements. Monthly remuneration across the posts ranges from Rs. 23,870/- to Rs. 75,000/-.

Scientific Officer and Network Administrator candidates must attend on 16.11.2026. IT Assistant and Desktop Support Engineer candidates must attend on 17.11.2026. Check eligibility before attending

Only Indian nationals may apply. The required educational route and experience differ by post, with qualifying experience ranging from one to three years. Age and experience are calculated on the relevant interview date. The highest upper-age limit is 36 years for Network Administrator; the other posts have limits of 35 or 30 years.
