Round 1 registration for postgraduate medical admission
The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee, under the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of West Bengal, has announced the Round 1 counselling schedule for the 2026-27 session. Registration and payment have different closing times
Online registration opened at 11:00 AM on 22 October 2026 and will close at 6:00 PM on 28 October 2026. The online fee-payment window extends until 12 Midnight on 28 October. What candidates should do now

- Access NEET PG 2026 registration and enter the requested examination and personal details.
- Complete the registration form, pay the applicable fee and retain the confirmation.
- Follow the official verification instructions and keep the required documents ready.
Verification is scheduled on 26, 27, 28 and 29 October, between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The verified candidate list and seat matrix are due after 2:00 PM on 30 October.
Choices, allotment and admission
Choice filling and locking run from 4:00 PM on 30 October to 12 Midnight on 1 November 2026. Choices should be locked before the deadline, as unlocked choices may not be considered. The Round 1 allotment result is scheduled after 4:00 PM on 4 November.
