About the 2027 calendar
The Reserve Bank of India released its annual recruitment calendar for panel year 2027 on 23/10/2026. The update brings together notification months and examination schedules for seven recruitment entries. It is a scheduling update rather than an application notice: no vacancy totals, application dates, fees or eligibility conditions are included.
Officer recruitment schedule
For Officers in Grade B through direct recruitment, the calendar covers the General, DEPR and DSIM streams. Their notification is listed for February 2027, followed by Phase I in April 2027 and Phase II in May / June 2027. These are the only entries in the calendar with a separate Phase-II examination period.
Officers in Grade A (DR) General follow a later schedule. Their notification month is July 2027, with the examination listed for September 2027. The Phase-II column for this entry is marked NA.
Specialist recruitment schedule
The specialist entries cover technical managers in Civil and Electrical disciplines, Legal Officer in Grade B, Assistant Manager in Protocol & Security, and Assistant Manager in Rajbhasha. All five entries share February 2027 as their notification month and March / April 2027 as their examination period. Their Phase-II fields are marked NA.
The summary examination range is April 2027 to September 2027, while the detailed specialist entries explicitly show March / April 2027. Candidates should therefore read the individual recruitment row rather than rely only on the summary range.
