IIT Kanpur's Department of Sustainable Energy Engineering is recruiting one Research Associate-I through Advertisement No. P.Rect./R&D/2026/216. This is a purely temporary, contractual project position rather than a permanent appointment.

The initial tenure is one year, and an extension may follow if performance is satisfactory. Monthly consolidated pay is Rs. 58,000. An additional 20% HRA applies when campus accommodation is not provided.
