About the MWG-104 assignment
The MWG-104 assignment examines women’s changing participation in India’s labour market, the effects of reproductive technologies on women’s health, and gendered violence in South Asia. It asks students to use labour-market evidence, feminist perspectives and concepts relating to bodies and sexualities.
There are three questions, of which you must attempt any two. Each carries 50 marks, making a total of 100 marks. The recommended response length is 1,500–2,000 words. For the third question, you may choose either a theoretically grounded essay or a conversation or debate between feminist or gender-studies scholars.
