How to write and submit it
- Answer every question in both sections, keep each Section A answer within 300 words and write about 150 words for each Section B note.
- Handwrite your answers in your own words. Typed or printed responses are not allowed; copying from course material attracts zero marks for the question, while copying another student's responses can lead to rejection.
- Put your enrolment number, name, full address, signature and date at the top right of the first page. Put the programme title, course code and title, assignment code and study centre name at the top left.
- Use A4 ruled paper, leave a 4 cm left margin and at least four lines between answers, and secure the pages carefully.
- Keep each course assignment on separate sheets, label every answer with its question number and finish one section before starting the next.
- Submit to the Coordinator or Programme Incharge of your allotted study centre or programme study centre, not to the Student Evaluation Division at headquarters.
- Collect and retain a submission receipt and keep a photocopy of your assignment.
- If you have requested a study centre change, continue submitting to the original centre until IGNOU notifies the change.
Submission dates: 31 March 2027 (June 2027 term-end examination); 30 September 2026 (December 2026 term-end examination)
