About the BEGE-101 assignment
The BEGE-101 assignment assesses your understanding of language and literature through reading comprehension, literary devices, grammar and vocabulary. It includes a prose passage and a short poem, alongside exercises on conjunctions, word formation, sentence correction, modal verbs, phrasal verbs, verb forms and antonyms.
There is one Tutor Marked Assignment worth 100 marks. All ten questions are compulsory and carry 10 marks each. Questions combine short responses, definitions with examples, sentence-based exercises and interpretation. The guidelines emphasise applying your understanding and writing in your own words rather than reproducing course material.
